[00:00:02] Speaker A: Alrighty. Alrighty, everybody, we are back. Renaissance Fair is done. We went out and did that shit. [00:00:10] Speaker B: I got a cape. [00:00:12] Speaker C: I thought it was like a cat fair. [00:00:14] Speaker A: Well, we did both. We did both. [00:00:17] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [00:00:20] Speaker A: So last Saturday was Cat Fest. [00:00:25] Speaker B: Courtney, did I send you my pictures? [00:00:27] Speaker C: No. [00:00:28] Speaker A: All right, well, I sent you all the pictures. [00:00:31] Speaker C: Send them later. [00:00:33] Speaker A: So, yeah, this is the reason why we, like, missed a week. We've been missing a bunch of weeks this year. But, you know, we have reasons. Yeah, we're. I'm. I'm a busy man that doesn't have time for social media or whatever. This is all the time. But. So last week was Cat Fest on Saturday, and my wife got all dressed up in her finest regalia. [00:01:00] Speaker B: I was a leopard princess of cat. [00:01:02] Speaker A: And I got back, went out to the Cat Fest and had a great time, Bought too much, and I'm like, okay, cool. You know, I'm now poor, but it is fine. And then the next day, I invited my friend Tron and his kid to come with us to Renaissance Festival. [00:01:30] Speaker B: It was a prior engagement, but it was fun, you know? [00:01:35] Speaker A: So I'm like, like, let's all go. Let's go enjoy, you know, Ren Fair, like we do every year. And so we're, like, walking around. My wife gets her face painted, and I always forget the fact that they're cash only. Like, Renaissance Festival is like. They're like, you go up and, like, give us cash. We don't take card here. [00:02:05] Speaker B: Yeah, because it's expensive for them to take card. Holy. It's expensive, is it? Yes. No, because at my booth, we had to do card. We were trying to do, like, card. We wanted to do card transactions, but like PayPal. Zelle Little thing you put on your phone, like, everything. It was like $300 plus. And we're like, okay, well, and then you. And you have to, like, sign, like, a subscription. You can't just do it like, a one time, and there's all this, like. It was too fucking stupid. So we had to do cash only. [00:02:36] Speaker A: I had square for, like, a long time, and it was, like, free. Like, you paid, like, a percentage of your sales. [00:02:44] Speaker B: Yeah, that was then. [00:02:46] Speaker A: I mean, PayPal now is that you pay a percentage of your sales. It's a big percentage. But, you know, I'm. I'm excited for the future when that is no longer a thing, you know, the data centers better be good for something. I'm telling you that. [00:03:06] Speaker C: I don't know. [00:03:06] Speaker A: Oh, and I'm also your host, Alex Truck. But [00:03:12] Speaker C: I heard they're like buying a ton of old ass books and having the AI read them and then destroying them. [00:03:23] Speaker A: I mean, if no one's reading the books anymore, I mean, no one reads the Great Gatsby. No one cares about that. [00:03:30] Speaker C: Yeah, people do. [00:03:32] Speaker A: Then hold on to a copy for yourself. Yeah, I mean, I doubt that they're going out and buying like rare old books. I'm sure they're just like, you know, [00:03:44] Speaker C: okay, that's what they are doing. [00:03:45] Speaker A: Just buying rare old books and just destroying them and then having, you know, AI be the only copy of it. [00:03:54] Speaker C: Yeah, [00:03:57] Speaker A: then buy the old books and then, you know, make a killing, you know, selling it to AI People like, hey, look, I got this book right here. You know, it's the last copy. It's gonna be a cool million dollars for you guys. And then you make a million dollars. And then, you know, if a book did not come into massive amounts of print, then it did not matter. You know, it's like, oh, no, you know, Anne Rice's work is all gonna be, you know, destroyed. Oh, wait, every fucking, you know, middle aged mother has it. [00:04:34] Speaker B: I did not like her writing style. I tried so hard. I read three or four books and I hated it the whole time. I tried so hard. [00:04:44] Speaker A: Yeah, so like, any book that's actually worth reading, they're gonna have backup copies. There's no way that they can destroy all the copies, but they'll be like, hey, yeah, we have this obscure book that only three of them existed and you know, no one's gonna give a. You know, the AI bubble is about to burst and it's gonna be hilarious for everyone that has all their money in it. Because I, I'm like watching, you know, all these flock cameras and all these companies that heavily rely on AI lose all their employees. And then they're like, oh, we actually need those people. And now no one wants to do business with us because we're all just pure AI. [00:05:31] Speaker B: Yeah, it is. [00:05:34] Speaker A: It's like if your company, if your entire company can be done by AI, why would anyone pay you for it? They can pay for their own AI to do what your company does. [00:05:46] Speaker B: You know, it's gonna completely re evaluate. Like we're gonna have to come to a new definition of what work is and what AI does. Like, it's going to change everything. [00:05:56] Speaker A: I'm excited for when AI starts driving these fucking trucks. I'm like, come on, fucking drive my goddamn truck. You bitch at me all the fucking time. You know, you have a million sensors, a bunch of AI cameras Watching me fucking you see me do it for a while. Fucking do it yourself now. And they'll never be able to do it because, like, the liability will be too great because they'll have to have a person in there. And if the AI accidentally ends up killing the driver, oh, my God, the liability, it'd be like the life insurance would pay out, the AI company would have to pay out, and the company would have to pay out. It would just be like, oh, yeah, sorry, your, your husband's dead, but here's like $10 million. So I, I, I'm just waiting for the AI bubble to just, you know, be like, all right, you know, here you go. You can, you know, make, you know, pictures of whatever the you want. You know, put little halos and wings on your cat. You know, put butterfly wings on it. Turn your cat into a dog, you know, like that. That's all AI should really be used for. [00:07:16] Speaker B: Why would you turn a cat into a dog? [00:07:19] Speaker A: Just to see what your cat like. People do that with theirselves all the time. Like, what would I look like as a girl? What would I look like as a guy? [00:07:27] Speaker B: That is just so disrespectful and demeaning to the cat. Like, why would you do that? It's disrespectful. [00:07:39] Speaker A: I bet you it already exists. I don't now, Now I got to see. Can AI turn my cat into a dog? Yes. AI can transport a photo of your cat into a dog using images like Adobe Firefly, Chat GPT. [00:07:57] Speaker B: It's just downgrading. [00:08:01] Speaker A: You can also do pet portraits. Create custom pet portraits with Chat GPT. Fast and easy. [00:08:09] Speaker B: Chat GPT freaks me out. Like, some people use it like it's God. [00:08:15] Speaker A: Yeah, they talk to it all the time. I'm like, stop telling it everything. [00:08:18] Speaker B: Yeah. And like, the thing with, like, Chat GBT is like, it's going to learn from what you put into it. So it's going to start telling you what you want to hear and not necessarily what's true. Reality. [00:08:33] Speaker A: Oh, AI is going to become the most racist thing in the world, and it's going to be hilarious. You know, people are going to make. I thought Hitler was racist. It's like, Jesus Christ. [00:08:48] Speaker B: Yeah, because it's a computer, it's going to make a pattern. [00:08:50] Speaker A: It's like, why did we, you know, allow our AI to talk to normal people? These people are awful. [00:08:59] Speaker B: Well, and people think you're talking, but you're not. You're both writing something on a page and then you're passing it to the other person and you don't truly know what the other person has said or written because you're only communicating through a page. Like you can't read a language and know how it sounds if you've never heard it read aloud. [00:09:23] Speaker A: I don't know how words sound. Like they could be English words and I'm just like, fucking, you know, I [00:09:32] Speaker B: guess it's fun learning new words. [00:09:36] Speaker A: It's not because I immediately forget the long ones that I'll never use again in my entire life. [00:09:40] Speaker B: No, you, they're, they're like a deep memory. And once every now and then you come across a situation where that is the exact word to use because it portrays everything. And your brain's like, here is that word. And then you never remember it again. [00:09:55] Speaker A: It's like all these kids have started using the word demure. [00:10:00] Speaker B: I said the word audacious the other day and I was like, I don't know if that's even a word, but I'm impressed I said it. [00:10:07] Speaker A: And I'm like, I don't think these kids actually know what the fucking words mean. [00:10:11] Speaker B: They have an idea from my perspective. [00:10:15] Speaker A: It's like, you know, it's like those are like, use it as memes, like some. Six, seven. I'm like, I, I hate you kids. [00:10:23] Speaker B: We had our own memes, though. [00:10:26] Speaker A: Not really. We had like the, you know, the oh my God, girl. And like, we had like the motivational posters and the philosopher. [00:10:35] Speaker B: We had vines and we used vines as verbs. [00:10:38] Speaker A: No, we didn't like, send each other. We didn't send each other. I was never on Vine. I have actually never visited that website ever in my life. [00:10:47] Speaker B: No, I only ever saw the, the pure gold products it produced. [00:10:52] Speaker A: Yeah, like I'll be like on, you know, Facebook or YouTube, I'm like, oh, look, Vine. [00:10:57] Speaker C: But hey, why did vine go out of, you know, business? [00:11:02] Speaker B: That is a great question. Because I also don't know because there's [00:11:06] Speaker A: no money to really be made there. Like, you know, hey, here's a 30 second video of someone doing something funny. You know, who's going to advertise on that? You know? [00:11:18] Speaker B: No, they were in debt, they ran out of money, baby. You're right. [00:11:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's not a great way to make money at all. Like YouTube has like long form videos and it's, you know, parent company is Google. So like anytime, like you go onto a Google anything, it's like, oh, guess what? You know, I have to pay for this. It's like, you know, can AI turn my, you know, cat into a dog. It's like, you know, you'll go see the AI overview and then you'll scroll down a bit and then you'll take [00:11:50] Speaker B: that, by the way, those AI overviews and it's like, wait, because like I'll be Google something and it gives you this information for a second I'm like, is this what I want to read? Then I realize, no, I'm looking for the actual articles, not this. [00:12:04] Speaker A: And like the always like the top ones are like sponsored. So you have to pay to get to the top of Google. [00:12:09] Speaker B: Yep. [00:12:10] Speaker A: And that's how they make money. It's a brilliant fucking way to make money. [00:12:15] Speaker B: No, at my previous job, they did pay like, I don't know, they did pay like Google. So that when you Googled like Cat Clinic, we did come up first. [00:12:24] Speaker A: Uh huh. Yeah. It's smart because most people, that's all they'll fucking do is they'll just choose the first one and be like, this is the best one because it's the first one. [00:12:34] Speaker C: Yes. [00:12:35] Speaker A: And it's like, no, you know, it's like Microsoft Word alternative. Let's see what it comes up with. You know, Google Docs yet? No, Open Office is like the best, you know. Okay, there we go. Yeah, give me Reddit first. And then it gives. [00:12:57] Speaker B: That's hilarious. [00:12:59] Speaker A: Libre Office. What the. Is this garbage? [00:13:02] Speaker B: Oh no, it looks old school. Go back. [00:13:06] Speaker A: Yeah, it is old school. [00:13:07] Speaker B: Yeah, that's old school. That's relaxing. That is so relaxing. I hate how Word is reorganized now. It's awful. [00:13:17] Speaker A: And then you'll. [00:13:17] Speaker B: That felt so good to see that, [00:13:20] Speaker A: you know, but it's like I'm Open Office, you know, Apache, Open Office, like that's what I use. [00:13:29] Speaker B: I haven't heard Apache in a long time. [00:13:33] Speaker A: I guarantee you. I probably, I probably have it installed on this computer right now. [00:13:36] Speaker B: Oh, I'm sure you do. [00:13:40] Speaker A: But it's, you know, at the same time it's like I don't want to, you know, find this old. [00:13:46] Speaker B: Oh my God, computers are so frustrating. [00:13:48] Speaker A: Yep. I do. I have it, you know, right here. Boom. Open Office, you know, Open Office, Base, Cal, Draw, Impress, Math and writer. Yeah, I'm sure it probably looks the same as, you know, the old style, which my dicks. [00:14:08] Speaker B: I hate change. [00:14:12] Speaker A: I mean, change is necessary, but Microsoft needs to keep on changing their. To keep. Yeah, see? [00:14:19] Speaker B: Oh, it's beautiful. [00:14:20] Speaker A: Yeah. Old style Microsoft. Like I. I don't even know if I. This will be able to. Let me see if I can share the screen of this? I doubt it. I can just share the entire screen. Screen one. Yeah, this is. This is what I get. You know, just. Yeah, the old style fucking ruler with [00:14:51] Speaker B: the little things that you can make look like that. I never knew what they did, but you can make them look like fucking time watches. [00:14:57] Speaker A: Oh, these. [00:14:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:59] Speaker A: This is where your words go. So if you take this all the way in, then your words only, you know, go so far. So, like, you can see how that one goes there. And then you can take this one, put it over. See? [00:15:17] Speaker B: But sometimes I'd hit them on accident and it would completely wreck my stuff, and I'd be really frustrated, like, oh, no, wait, I can just go back. Because Microsoft Word generally is rather forgiving. [00:15:30] Speaker A: Yeah, Control Z. That's all you do. Just control Z. And then, boom, you're back at the beginning. There's also the undo buttons up here, let you undo everything. It's great. I love it. It's phenomenal. And do you have a new nose [00:15:58] Speaker B: piercing that's just a new earring? [00:16:04] Speaker A: Well, it wouldn't be an earring. It's in her nose. [00:16:06] Speaker B: Okay. No, it's. She's got new jewelry. It's not a new. [00:16:10] Speaker A: Can you hear us, Courtney? [00:16:13] Speaker C: What? Sorry, I zoned out for a second. [00:16:17] Speaker B: My dearest and most beloved. [00:16:20] Speaker A: I'm just like, oh, no, she can't hear. [00:16:23] Speaker C: I'm so sorry. No, I zoned out. [00:16:27] Speaker A: I asked if you had a new nose piercing. [00:16:31] Speaker C: No, it's the same. It's been the same for a while. [00:16:35] Speaker A: And my wife's like, no, that's an earring. Like, it's in her nose. [00:16:39] Speaker B: I know. [00:16:40] Speaker A: Via nosing. [00:16:42] Speaker C: Yeah, it's a nose ring. [00:16:43] Speaker B: I mean, I generally just try to call all of them just a cartilage piercing. [00:16:49] Speaker A: Well, what if it doesn't go through your cartilage? [00:16:51] Speaker B: Then it's a lobe if it's in your lower ear, and then if it's on. And then there's, like, the ones on your lip. Those aren't cartilage. [00:16:59] Speaker A: The dermal piercings are the ones that freak me the out. [00:17:01] Speaker B: Oh, my God. I want to get those on my. What are these called? [00:17:07] Speaker A: They'll freak. I don't care. It will freak me out. [00:17:10] Speaker B: Yeah, fine. [00:17:11] Speaker A: It will freak me out. I do not like it. [00:17:15] Speaker B: That's understandable. It is a commitment. [00:17:18] Speaker A: Like, they don't come out at all. [00:17:21] Speaker B: If you're lucky, sometimes they can migrate or. [00:17:24] Speaker A: Yeah, or they get pushed out and shoot out a bunch of pus with them. Yeah, I don't like it. But let's get into some news stories, cuz, you know, I was doing all that. So Katy Perry was at a concert and she gets into a giant bottle during her performance. Like a giant water bottle looking thing. And she goes crowd surfing amongst all like the fans and she's like, all right, take me back to the stage. And they just take her out, you know, like the middle of the fucking. Yeah, so. [00:18:02] Speaker B: Oh, that is not what I was expecting it to look like. [00:18:05] Speaker A: Yeah, there's like a video from inside and so she was just like an in me shared screens. [00:18:14] Speaker B: I could never get in that. [00:18:15] Speaker A: Oh, you know, it's fucking claustrophobic as, you know, hell, all that. But, you know, so yeah, she was in this, you know, giant bottle. I'm like, what you should have done was have a tether to it. That way it could just get, you know, brought back in. Oh, look at that. There's. [00:18:41] Speaker B: Oh, yes. [00:18:43] Speaker A: I don't, I don't like the. Yeah, turn off the volume. But yeah, they just like, you know, take her out, you know, put her in this giant ass bottle. It's a five minute thing. And just like, hey, go ahead and crowd surf while your song gets played. And she's like, take me back. And it's like, cater raid, Katie, raid. [00:19:11] Speaker B: Oh my God. Okay. I was wondering like where the bottle came from. Like, are she's just like making like commentary on like our lack of recyclability. No, it's a fucking pun. [00:19:25] Speaker A: And yeah, she just gets taken way the fuck out. Eventually she does make it back because I'm, you know, a few of the fucking, you know, people that work there, you know, get her and bring her back. [00:19:37] Speaker B: Yeah, well, they can't keep her. [00:19:42] Speaker A: I guarantee you that's the first and last time that ever happened. [00:19:46] Speaker B: Oh, God, I hope so. Yeah, like, that's awful. [00:19:58] Speaker A: You know, they should just like. Yeah, and she just like takes flags and like throws it out to the audience. To the people that paid like a thousand dollars just to stand up, you know, for the entire concert. Right up front. [00:20:15] Speaker B: People are interesting. [00:20:19] Speaker A: I mean, if it's someone you want to see, then like this is basic. [00:20:24] Speaker B: This is like worship. [00:20:27] Speaker A: Yeah, like that, that, that's really what it. [00:20:31] Speaker B: And Katy Perry to that level. It's like no longer. [00:20:34] Speaker A: It's like she can't go out and about. She can't like go into a Costco. [00:20:40] Speaker B: No, she. There is a huge fault. [00:20:44] Speaker A: So I feel bad for her, but it's like at the same time, it's like that's what you wanted, you know. Congratulations. You've earned it. Yeah. All right, on to the next story. That this one was a man after my own heart. A man walks 16 kilometers to say. Why do they say 16 kilometers? It's like kilometers. It's like six miles to safety. After impaling himself on mountain, he impaled himself on his own walking stick. [00:21:17] Speaker B: Where? [00:21:18] Speaker A: Through his side. [00:21:20] Speaker B: Like, like, I, I, where's through his side? [00:21:23] Speaker A: Like, you know, like, like on the side of his ribs. [00:21:27] Speaker B: Okay. [00:21:28] Speaker A: Yeah, just like boom. You know, it was a through and through. Just through like his muscle. And he was a nurse, but he was out in Montana. Okay. It was, it was 10 miles. And yeah, he stabbed himself with a trekking pole just to avoid the helicopter fee. [00:21:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Cause that is expensive. [00:21:53] Speaker A: You know, I, I guarantee you it was just because he didn't want to be the next, you know, like that chick that went on a two mile hike, got heat stroke and had to be fucking airlifted out. [00:22:05] Speaker B: Heat strokes. Dangerous. [00:22:07] Speaker A: It is, but, you know. [00:22:08] Speaker B: No, it's really dangerous. [00:22:10] Speaker A: She, they could have brought her some. She was two miles into the hike from the car. [00:22:16] Speaker B: Yeah. And, and sometimes, like, if you don't, if you don't, like, learn how to do that and you just do it randomly, you can die. [00:22:26] Speaker A: Well, I'm sure, like all our friends are now wishing that she would have died. [00:22:29] Speaker B: So is he by himself or did he have friends? [00:22:32] Speaker A: He had friends with him. [00:22:33] Speaker B: Okay. [00:22:37] Speaker A: And yeah. So this badass dude, David said Sephaldi. I'm gonna say Sephaldi, 32 years old. Yeah. He was alongside two friends. He just stabbed himself. And I guarantee you they just made fun of him the entire way. Like, oh, you want to get a fucking helicopter, pussy? Only a pussy gets a helicopter. And like, they just kind of peer pressured him to fucking walk down the rest of the mountain and go to the hospital that way. Like, that's why you need man friends, because they'll bully you into just getting done and save you a bunch of money. [00:23:20] Speaker B: Oh, my God. His friends set up a good fuming for him. [00:23:22] Speaker A: Of course they did. [00:23:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:23:25] Speaker A: I'm sure it still cost a bunch of money to get that pole out. Yeah, Went all the way through his lat sticking out on both ends. See what the Gofundme has to say. [00:23:38] Speaker B: I want pictures of his wounds. [00:23:40] Speaker A: They're not bloody, actually. [00:23:42] Speaker B: I want pictures. [00:23:43] Speaker A: Okay, let me see if I can find the pictures of his wounds. Dude that got stabbed with a hiking pole. Images, please. There you go. [00:23:57] Speaker B: Dam. Okay, yeah, no, that missed yeah, no, that missed everything important. [00:24:08] Speaker A: Yeah. Nope, not, not, not bloody at all. [00:24:11] Speaker B: Well, yeah, of course. Cuz he's kept it inside, it's sealed. [00:24:13] Speaker A: But yeah, he was just. [00:24:14] Speaker B: And they pulled that out. I'm sure he bled like a stuck pig. [00:24:17] Speaker A: You know, he was just walking. Just, just having a. [00:24:30] Speaker B: Man. [00:24:33] Speaker C: Jeez, just imagining that hurts. You know, I've always had bad dreams where that's what's happened. I've gotten impaled by something in a car accident or something. [00:24:44] Speaker B: Oh, I'm so sorry, my dear. Those dreams are awful. [00:24:49] Speaker A: You'd be surprised. It's like not actually as bad as you would think, you know, to get, you know, poke with something. It's when they take it out that sucks. [00:24:59] Speaker B: Yeah, [00:25:01] Speaker A: it's like, oh no. Let's see where this GoFundMe is. Holy. $10,359 raised over the $11,000. Like a reasonable amount of money, not like a greedy amount, You know. On Monday, July 20th, David, myself and one other friend left the trailhead at 3:30am that's what you get for leaving early. Yeah. To attempt Granite Peak, Montana's highest point. Probably like 5, 000ft. Like now, now I have to find out how tall Granite Peak is. See, this is what ADHD does to you. Because now I need to, you know. Now need. [00:25:48] Speaker B: No, I also need to know this information. You look, you started looking for it before I could ask. [00:25:55] Speaker A: 12, 800. Okay, so that, that is a decent mountain. It's no 14er like we have out here in Colorado. But yeah, like 12, 800ft, you know, get on our. [00:26:10] Speaker C: Is that the one? Is that the tallest mountain in California? [00:26:13] Speaker A: Montana. [00:26:14] Speaker C: Oh, Montana. Did you know? So like it's really funny. It like really not that far apart. We've got in California our tallest mountain and then we've got our lowest point and they're really close to each other. [00:26:33] Speaker B: It's really weird. Well, let's see what continents clash and one builds up. [00:26:39] Speaker A: What is California's tallest mountain? Sinks down Mount Whitney, standing at. Yeah. 14,505ft. Sierra Nevada. [00:26:50] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:26:52] Speaker C: And it also, what was I gonna say? It's also like extreme weather too. So like you've got cold, snow, and then in Death Valley, you've got Death Valley heat. No water, no rain. [00:27:11] Speaker A: What is the tallest point in the lowest 48? Mount Whitney is the tallest. So that's the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states. [00:27:23] Speaker C: All of them. [00:27:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. So yeah, yeah. You have the Badwater Basin in Death Valley, the lowest point in North America. So it's not just the lowest point in California, it's the lowest point everywhere. So, you know, that's pretty cool. [00:27:46] Speaker B: What's the lowest point in the whole world? [00:27:51] Speaker A: What's the lowest point in the whole world? The Dead sea. [00:27:57] Speaker B: Ooh. [00:28:00] Speaker A: It's 1400ft below sea level. And obviously the tallest mountain is Mount Everest. So I, I was about to ask the Internet, I'm like, what's the tall like. No, idiot, it's Mount Everest. You know, that. That's pretty cool, though, you know. One point for California. Too bad it's on fire. Too bad Colorado is also on fire. [00:28:34] Speaker B: Everywhere is on fire. [00:28:35] Speaker A: Yeah, we're all on fire. [00:28:37] Speaker C: Canada, too. [00:28:39] Speaker A: I was gonna go out shooting tomorrow, and they extended the fucking don't go out and shoot ban. [00:28:46] Speaker B: Why? [00:28:48] Speaker A: Because everything's on fire. And they know better than to fucking trust us retards with, you know, going out to the woods to shoot guns because they know someone's gonna bring some they're not supposed to bring and set something on fire and be like, oh, I don't know. And then they're just going to run away and then, oh, look, five more houses burnt to the ground. So, I mean, it, it is fair. Like, I, I, I don't, you know, disagree with it, unlike Senate Bill 003, you know, which just came into effect today as we're recording this August 1st. So, yeah, Colorado is at war with the government now. And, yeah, every day that I don't have my rights is hopefully another day that I get extra money, but not all honesty. They're probably just gonna ignore me and be like, yeah, go yourself. We don't care. Like, you already have guns. You're fine. And, and it is kind of true, but it's like, I, what if I wanted more guns? But, you know, speaking of guns, a Georgia first grader with autism suspended for biting a sandwich into the shape of a gun. Hilarious. This kid is my spirit animal, and I love him. He is fantastic. You know, unsuspend. Him. You know, it. I like, if I take one bite of a sandwich, it's the shape of a gun. You know, I take a bite from a corner, boom, looks like a gun. So these teachers need to settle the down. [00:30:38] Speaker B: They really do, [00:30:41] Speaker C: man. [00:30:44] Speaker A: You know, a Fayette county first grader, first grader, too, with autism was suspended after biting his sandwich into the shape of a gun and pointing it at a classmate during lunch, according to his parents and school records. His family says the incident is part of a broader pattern of the district Disciplining their son without adequately considering his disability. School records show that Sarah Harp, Mentor elementary administrators issued more than two dozen disciplinary actions against the six year old John Medina. Some include incidents of violent behavior such as kicking and punching other students at recess. Since 2023, the school has disciplined John at least 33 times, including 14 suspensions. Records also show John was suspended for pointing a water bottle at someone while making gun noise. That's stupid. [00:31:46] Speaker B: That one is stupid. [00:31:47] Speaker A: And was disciplined for drawing a pilgrim shooting a turkey. [00:31:52] Speaker B: That's also stupid. [00:31:53] Speaker A: Yeah, These goddamn liberals. Okay, okay. [00:31:56] Speaker B: No, his. Him being like violent, like kicking, punching, that. [00:31:59] Speaker A: Of course, yeah. Kicking, biting, you know all that. Yes. You know, teach him not to do that. He does have autism, so, you know, it's not an excuse. [00:32:08] Speaker B: He is autistic. He does not have autism. [00:32:12] Speaker A: He has the tism. It's fine. I, I need to know if this was like a plain peanut butter sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, because it's just a peanut butter sandwich. Yeah. Turn that thing into a gun. You know, anytime I just eat a peanut butter sandwich. Straight. Yeah. I want to think, turn the thing into a gun too. [00:32:29] Speaker B: I cannot eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I can eat a peanut butter sandwich and I can eat a jelly sandwich, but I cannot eat the two together. That is nasty. It's disgusting. [00:32:45] Speaker A: I mean, like, if you're a, if you're a parent, you know, just, you know, keep the guns locked up and there you go, you're fine. So, yeah, stop punishing this, you know, child and, you know, get over yourselves. Now, if he did it at work, if he was like 28 years old and bit his sandwich into a shape of a gun and pointed it at his co worker, that would be hilarious too. Hey, got a gun. [00:33:26] Speaker B: Okay. If I, if I saw someone did that, I would be embarrassed for them. [00:33:30] Speaker A: I want to do this now. I want to make myself a sandwich and bite it into the shape of a fucking gun. This kid's my little hero. [00:33:38] Speaker B: Got some Nutella? [00:33:41] Speaker A: Nah, that's me. Peanut butter. Vietnamese doctors perform the nation's first successful penis transplant. [00:33:52] Speaker B: That's awesome. [00:33:54] Speaker A: That means they've tried this before and they've had very unsuccessful penis transplant. [00:33:59] Speaker B: Yeah, of course. You think it's gonna go right the first time? [00:34:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:04] Speaker B: Nah. [00:34:06] Speaker C: What? [00:34:07] Speaker A: Like, I like how, like, this dude over here is like, refereeing what these two are doing. Well, yeah, let me, let me share the screen so Courtney can actually see what the is going on. [00:34:19] Speaker C: Yep. [00:34:21] Speaker A: Like, this dude back here is like refereeing, you know, What? What? These two? I wonder if you can see the penis. No, it's a tiny little penis. You know, zoom in. Enhanced. Nope. [00:34:39] Speaker C: I don't know. I think they kind of blurted out. [00:34:41] Speaker B: They blurted out for sure, [00:34:46] Speaker A: But. Hanoi Viet Duk Friendship Hospital on July 29 announced a successful completion of Vietnam's first penis transplant from a brain dead donor. [00:34:59] Speaker B: Who else are you going to get a penis from? [00:35:02] Speaker A: You took both these guys heads. [00:35:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:35:06] Speaker A: You know, he had one head that didn't work and you're like, he doesn't need this other head. [00:35:09] Speaker B: Well, it's not working. It has no purpose. It might as well do its job. [00:35:15] Speaker A: If you lose your penis, that's the only one you get. You don't get to have another fucking penis. [00:35:19] Speaker B: Well, you do now. [00:35:22] Speaker A: It's like, who's that dude that got his penis chopped off and thrown in the woods? [00:35:29] Speaker B: I thought you were going to talk about the dude who had the fish swim up his penis. [00:35:33] Speaker A: No, like we. Like, he had a porn dude whose wife cut off his penis. John Bobbitt. John Wayne Bobbitt? Yeah, his wife, you know, like, caught him cheating or something, cut off his penis and threw it into a field. And then John goes out to the field, finds his penis, and then how. The doctors reattach that penis, which is amazing. And then he does porn later, which we watched on the podcast, like a while ago. So, yeah, that, that's awesome. But it's like, I, I wouldn't want another dude's dick on me because what if it's bigger? Then you're like, fuck, you get to be. [00:36:21] Speaker B: No, but then it's a good thing. You don't want to downsize now, do you? [00:36:27] Speaker A: But it's not. [00:36:28] Speaker B: Obviously you want to stay the same or upgrade. [00:36:31] Speaker A: I, I want the exact same. Like, I, I want you to inflate that penis. Inflate my old penis? Like, I want it to be the same, you know, I don't, I don't want to be like, it would be [00:36:42] Speaker B: weird if your dick was a different color though. [00:36:45] Speaker A: Like, you know, like, what, what if I got like a penis transplant and then you started enjoying it more? [00:36:51] Speaker B: It wouldn't matter. [00:36:52] Speaker A: Yeah, you're like, oh, wow, your penis is like, way better now. [00:36:56] Speaker B: It wouldn't be that much of a difference. [00:36:58] Speaker A: It's like, it's like, like I squeeze the ball and like my vibrates. It's like, oh, man. Has like USB charging in the other ball. [00:37:09] Speaker B: See, it's an upgrade. Yeah, no, like, decreases the workload. [00:37:19] Speaker A: So the patient was a 43 year old male who underwent a partial pinectomy at the andro Andrology andrology center of Viet Duke Friendship Hospital. After four years of treatment, his health was completely stable and his urinary function preserved. [00:37:41] Speaker B: Which is the more important part, let's be honest. [00:37:44] Speaker A: However, due to his very short remaining length of penis, the patient faced significant difficulties with sexual activity which substantially impacted his quality of life. Psychology. [00:37:58] Speaker B: Psychological. [00:37:58] Speaker A: Psychological well being. [00:38:00] Speaker B: See, this is important. Like this. You up. Like, it's super good. They can do this. [00:38:06] Speaker A: If, like there's so many dudes out there right now with embarrassing dicks and they, they don't get any play and it's sucks, but you know, that's just the hand you've been dealt. Sorry kid, you don't have a good dick, you know, boom. Go ahead. [00:38:24] Speaker B: Why can't they get a better one? [00:38:27] Speaker A: Use your fingers, use your tongue. You know, you can still come. [00:38:31] Speaker B: They're still allowed to want a bigger size and go get it. [00:38:34] Speaker A: Then put on like, why are you [00:38:36] Speaker B: looking down on them for their cosmetic needs? [00:38:39] Speaker A: You know, put, put like a little, you know, like a. I got the thing that goes over your penis that makes your penis bigger. [00:38:46] Speaker B: It's not the same. [00:38:47] Speaker A: It's pretty much the same. [00:38:48] Speaker C: It's not the same. [00:38:49] Speaker B: It's not the same. [00:38:53] Speaker A: You know, be mad at your mom for small dick dudes. Like, that's all I have to say. Like, like I want to see the surgery of this. Like, like I, I don't, I don't care about all these. [00:39:08] Speaker B: So was it successful? Can he get hard? Yeah, that's all that matters. [00:39:18] Speaker A: The transplant not only serves the therap the therapeutic purpose for the patient, but also demonstrates the Vietnamese medical team's mastery of complex composite tissue transplantation techniques, opening up treatment opportunities for. Patients have lost their penises due to cancer trauma or, or accidents. [00:39:37] Speaker B: Yeah, see, they still deserve to have a penis. [00:39:39] Speaker A: No, if you lose your penis in an accident, you know, that's it. Sorry, that, that sucks. But if your wife chops off your penis, you go get another one. I don't want a fucking Franken penis. I'm sorry. [00:39:49] Speaker B: I don't expect you to want one. [00:39:53] Speaker A: Like, if I lost like half my penis in like a freak accident, would you still love me? [00:39:58] Speaker B: Of course I would. [00:39:59] Speaker A: Would you still like. [00:40:00] Speaker B: It wouldn't matter. [00:40:03] Speaker A: Would you still suck my dick like a little half dick? [00:40:05] Speaker B: Yeah, it'll be easier. My God, I'm so sorry. But it would be less work. [00:40:16] Speaker A: These poor dudes. All right, now for the Last story before we get into advice. Nude man claiming to be. Claiming to be Jesus crashed his car into Detroit church. [00:40:27] Speaker C: Ooh. [00:40:28] Speaker B: How high was he? [00:40:32] Speaker A: High. Is God a naked man having a mental health crisis? How do you know he was mentally ill? He could have been Jesus. [00:40:39] Speaker B: You know, he thought he was Jesus. He's mentally ill. Okay. [00:40:45] Speaker A: I think that's like, the entire story. [00:40:47] Speaker B: That's it. [00:40:48] Speaker A: That's it. [00:40:48] Speaker B: Oh, my God. It's one of those short ones. [00:40:50] Speaker A: I hate those stories. No, that's awful. [00:40:53] Speaker B: It's clickbait. I have been deceived. Deceived. [00:41:00] Speaker A: Ah, that I have been [00:41:05] Speaker B: bamboozled. [00:41:06] Speaker A: I. I want to see this new dude. Yeah, I. I was expecting more that. That's why I get for just not reading the article. Not, you know, being prepared ahead of time. Whatever. Let's see. And then we got advice here. We'll do one advice and then call it a day. I just read the title of this one and, you know, clicked it. I'm like, this is the one by neck. Lost 3303. How do I sleep with my boyfriend? You know, my boyfriend and I, both 22 this year, moved in together recently. We've been trying to get used to the new living arrangements. It hasn't been easy. [00:41:51] Speaker C: A. [00:41:52] Speaker A: He's very easily distracted by things that are out of place or not where or how he wants them. So I try to, you know. So I try my best to give him peace of mind. We use like, five rolls of electric tape everywhere in the apartment to clearly define where everything should be. Even our fridge is split up by tape in eight segments. That way everything is clearly defined for me so I don't misplace anything. Our apartment looks like giant hopscotch surface. Anyway, I've done all that with him to help him girlfriend feel less bothered by the new arrangement. And it has worked out pretty decent for the most part. Except he's still so bad at sleep, and I don't know how to help. In our apartment, we share a bed when we sleep, and he cannot just fall asleep easily. At night, he tosses and turns so much he drinks, and he drinks water so much that he has to pee like five times. And when we cuddle, I can literally feel his heart pounding. And when he gets a boner. [00:43:04] Speaker B: No, he always gets a boner. [00:43:06] Speaker A: And he always gets a boner, which I assured him many times doesn't bother me. Yet he still feels like sheepishabout, which probably keeps him up longer. Here's the thing. Suck his dick like, you know, once A dude comes, it's all over. It's like fucking melatonin, you know, from the dick. I've asked him about what bothers him and why he can't sleep. He says he doesn't have a specific answer. He says it just. He keeps on thinking he'll disturb me in my sleep, but by doing that, he'll keep himself up, which does disturb me. We've only been able to sleep well, either after sex or if he falls asleep first without knowing I'm gonna be asleep so soon. Which usually when I'm doing work, I'd like any advice that can help the situation for both of us to sleep better, because this is not it. I gave you the advice, girl. Yeah, get some. Get some bow, chickabow. Get some brown chicken, brown cows, you know, going. And, yeah, he'll fall asleep. [00:44:13] Speaker B: This is ocd, right? [00:44:16] Speaker A: No. [00:44:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:44:17] Speaker B: What is it then? Because this ain't normal. [00:44:22] Speaker C: No, he has some form of ocd. [00:44:23] Speaker B: Yeah, that's not normal. [00:44:26] Speaker A: I mean, sometimes people just like things to be where they're. [00:44:29] Speaker B: They're at, but this is too much. If you. That is too much. Having your entire apartment taped up is too much. It's too much. [00:44:50] Speaker A: I mean, like, having someone move in with you is a huge change in your life. [00:44:56] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, absolutely. [00:45:01] Speaker A: And it's like, okay, yeah, I don't, you know, want things to be different, you know, and he might have some, like, neurological issues or whatever, but, you know, you. You'll figure it out. You moved in recently. You're both 22, so, you know, at, you know, best. Really dating for like, what, four, six years? You're still young and you'll figure it out. [00:45:37] Speaker C: This. [00:45:37] Speaker B: This is still abnormal. Like, Op's boyfriend needs to, A, be aware this is causing so much distress, and B, he needs to seek help for it. This isn't normal. And he can go get help if he wants to, but he has to want to. [00:45:52] Speaker A: I mean, at 22, you don't communicate that well, so. [00:45:56] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I didn't communicate well until I started going to therapy. [00:46:00] Speaker A: So let's do the other thing. Obviously, I don't know anything about your boyfriend, but he. It feels like very ocd, adhd, coded, maybe time tied to some trauma. [00:46:09] Speaker B: That, that cut, that level stuff is from trauma. Like, I know that's from trauma. Because I realized I was doing that. And when I realized I was doing that, I was like this. I'm not going. I'm going to therapy. [00:46:29] Speaker A: King size bed. He has his side, you have yours. Dark room, no Phone. One hour before bed, hot shower. No late night caffeine. No food. Three hours before sleep. Magnesium supplement and melatonin. [00:46:43] Speaker B: He also shouldn't be peeing five times a night. That's also abnormal. Like, you should be able to sleep eight hours without having to urinate. [00:46:55] Speaker A: Oh, like when I. There's a problem when I'm in my hotel. I turn that hotel down to 65 degrees. You would hate it. [00:47:03] Speaker B: Yeah, I wouldn't be able to do a deal with it. I hate it. But then how cold is the pool? And when I go sit in it, [00:47:09] Speaker A: it's probably like 70 degrees. Yeah, because it's so hot outside, that pool feels cold. [00:47:15] Speaker B: I love my pool. [00:47:17] Speaker A: So. [00:47:17] Speaker B: But no, Opie's boyfriend needs help. [00:47:21] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, you can get through it together. You're both 22. You're both, you know, little young kids. [00:47:25] Speaker B: She is not obligated. But to handle that much abstraction. [00:47:29] Speaker C: She. [00:47:30] Speaker A: She's not. She's also not saying that she wants to break up with them. [00:47:33] Speaker B: I know, but, you know, sure. Not setting boundaries is not helping the situation. Situation. She's catering to this behavior, which means she is encouraging it. And this behavior is not healthy. So this is making a very negative cycle. [00:47:48] Speaker A: We'll see what happens. Let's see. [00:47:53] Speaker B: I hope they get through it. I really do. [00:47:56] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, just, you know, what you do is you just give them a little bit of dome, you know, if I can make them come and, you know, that's like natural. [00:48:01] Speaker B: No, she doesn't have to do that every single day. That's too much. [00:48:10] Speaker A: Having sex every single day, she shouldn't [00:48:12] Speaker B: feel obligated to do so. Like, she shouldn't be having sex with him just so he will be relaxed. Like, that takes the enjoyment away from it. [00:48:23] Speaker A: So do you see sex as a chore? [00:48:25] Speaker B: No, of course not. If I did, if we had sex every day, eventually it'd be okay. If we were having sex every day because you needed to have sex and that was the only way you could fall asleep. For me, it would be. It would start to become something that I do for you, to take care of you and not something that is mutually pleasing. Eventually it would feel that way. [00:48:48] Speaker A: You've done a lot of the changing here. Don't lose yourself by giving up too much. [00:48:51] Speaker C: Yes. [00:48:51] Speaker A: It sounds like there's an underlying issue that can be addressed with therapy for you and your boyfriend. [00:48:58] Speaker B: Oh, yay. [00:49:00] Speaker A: I can tell you it works for someone who's much older than me. That has means. We bought a king size bed and Two separate duvets. We need to sleep. Also, like, another thing that I've seen is people just, like, sleep apart. Like, they're together, but they have their [00:49:19] Speaker B: own beds, which I think is very, very interesting. But that's how it used to be. Like, originally, like rich people, you each had your own bedroom, and couples didn't start sleeping together until you got down to people who couldn't afford to have as many rooms in their house. So everyone slept together on one bed because that was the room that was allowed. And then that became a thing. [00:49:39] Speaker A: It's like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where everyone's sleeping on one bed. [00:49:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:49:43] Speaker A: No, seriously, I'm like, oh, Jesus Christ. Like, that. That's poor. [00:49:49] Speaker B: And, like. And for a lot of people, it's really healthy to their relationship, and they need it and they crave it. But other people who need to sleep alone, they should sleep alone. Like, sleep is very important. [00:50:04] Speaker A: Yes, it is. [00:50:05] Speaker B: And so you need to treat it with respect. [00:50:08] Speaker A: So. But that's gonna be it for this week. You know, Be back next week, I'm sure, with some more. Some more grievances, some more suffer. I, you know, set up last second. I'm like, oh, yeah, we gotta do this. Yeah. But we'll be back. Until then, see y' all later. Have a good night. Bye. [00:50:33] Speaker B: Bye. Bye.
